How to prepare dark chocolate cake at home?

This cake is a four-ingredient baked cake without oven.

Ingredients

20 pieces of vanilla  oreo biscuits
1 cup milk
1/2 cup dark chocolate
3/4 of 1 Eno packet (or 1 tsp Baking powder)
Dry fruits (optional)

Instructions

For chocolate syrup

1. Take the dark chocolate and add little milk to it. Boil for few minutes so that the liquid gets syrup texture.

For the cake

1. Take the oreo biscuits and milk. Put in the blender and blend it well. The mixture should be of thick consistency and not flowy. If required add more milk to it.

2. Add the Eno powder and mix it well.
You will notice the batter will start rising once eno is added.

3. Take a baking container, put oil and butter paper on the lower surface of it. Meanwhile, in a large pan or cooker, place an aluminum plate and turn on the gas stove and keep it on simmer.

4. Transfer the batter into the baking container and place the container into the pan or cooker that has been kept on gas stove for heating. Cover the whole container and keep on low flame for 20-30 mins.

5. With a cake tester needle, check if the cake is cooked properly. When you insert the needle, if no raw batter sticks to the needle, your cake is ready!

6. Let it cool for sometime and take it out of the baking mould.

7. Take the chocolate syrup and pour it on top and side surfaces of the cake.

8. I have added cashew powder and cranberries on top to add extra taste to it. This is completely optional.

Notes

1. Eno powder can be replaced by baking powder.

2. Dark chocolate used here is 55-60 % dark only.

3. You can also add dried raisins, cranberries, blueberries and walnuts to the cake batter. That would make the cake more yummy.

4. If using baking powder, ensure the amount is proper else the cake would turn bitter in taste.

This dark chocolate cake is very soft and spongy with bittersweet taste. Please try this recipe and provide your feedback in the comments section. Do share this recipe if you like it.
